Setting up a multi-studio virtual learning facility in government schools

Updated: Apr 19, 2020

The Government of Maharashtra is endeavouring to significantly enhance the quality of teaching in its Zilla Parishad Schools. Availability of teachers proficient on the subject and delivery of teaching is a bottleneck to offer quality education to hundreds of its schools.

A virtual class room, with live streaming facility, on various subjects delivered by best teachers, was chosen as a solution.

Aforeserve is implementing this Project at Bal Bharati School, Pune as the Service Partner for the System Integrator delivering this huge Project for the Govt . This includes installation and support of virtual classrooms at 725 schools across zilla parishads. The schools will be connected to the central Virtual Classroom facility, at Bal Bharti, Pune. The facility has three studios that can operate simultaneously. Content generated can also be accessed on demand through e-learning channels. Aforeserve engineers setup the devices, application, network, connectivity and storage on time to make it a successful project rollout. Aforeserve will also be offering the project management for the entire rollout.

The project will benefit students of 752 schools. It was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister of Education, Maharashtra Smt. Varsha Gaekwad. She connected with students from 15 Zilla Parishad schools during the inauguration.
