Overview:

The aim of CR+ is to provide technical expertise in the field of chip level repair to students pursuing a career in Computer Hardware. The course provides an in-depth knowledge into various components, their role and function as well as methodology of repairing these components up to chip level.

It trains the students in chip level repairing of First and Second generation DT motherboards of different chipsets, memory modules, ODD Combo and all types of add-on cards i.e., AGP, fax modem, LAN, sound card, etc. The state-of-the-art chip level repair facility also helps us to train students on CD-ROM drives, monitors, printers and their logic cards, UPS, SMPS, HDD & PCB.

It is a complete domain of understanding how computer works. It starts with the explanation of low-level units (CPU, RAM, ROM, I/O) and gradually moves on to structural level of understanding. Its focus is teaching the methodology of repairing various components of computer up to chip level. The sole purpose is to prepare complete hardware professionals with competence in chip level repair technology.
